Microbial Sampling & Analysis
Atmos operates in-house identification of airborne fungal spore and surface tape sample analysis. In-house and onsite fungal spore analysis allows Atmos to provide same day turn-around times that would not normally be available, particularly in regional and remote areas where receiving results can often take several days.
In-house and onsite analysis also allows for much larger sample numbers to be collected, increasing the data for analysis at a vastly reduced cost to the client.
By performing our own analysis, Atmos is also able to provide “forensic” analysis services for known environmental particulates to evaluate ambient conditions. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Pollen and vegetation fragments.
- Microbial Volatile Organic Chemicals (mVOC’s) and Mycotoxin analysis.
- Burned organic materials including soot and char.
- Algae and algal spores.
- Insect parts and other debris.
- Inorganic particles including paint, metals, and salts.
